With profound grief, we inform about the sad demise of our mother/mother-in-law/grandmother, Mrs. Rama Chandra, w/o Late Shriniwas Chandra on 4th July 2007. She was born at Patna(Bihar), spent a larger part of her life here and finally passed away here at the age of 76. She was the eldest granddaughter of veteran Congress leader, freedom fighter and ex-education minister of Bihar, Late Acharya Badrinath Verma. One of the most cherished moments of her childhood was her meeting with Mahatma Gandhi at Sadaquat Ashram, Patna and seeking blessings from him. She followed the principles of Gandhiji throughout her life. She participated in Indias freedom movement as a youth and had an opportunity to meet a number of freedom fighters. She was a very pious, loving and caring lady. She loved cooking, travelling and story-telling to her grandchildren. We will always miss her!! Her shraddha ceremony will be performed as follows: Dash Karma - 14th July Ekadasha - 15th July Dwadasha - 16th July May her soul rest in peace !!
