Please note that incomplete besanu/obituaries are not listed. All besanu/obituaries are verified by operators manually before releasing it for search.
Photograph of the deceased can be uploaded from here. Specify the folder name and file name and while saving obituary it will automatically save it for you. Please follow Obituary: Photograph specification before uploading. Only photographs with .gif extensions are allowed. In case you face problem while uploading photograph you can also send us by email attachment.
Private or public option enable you to allow people that you don't know to add condolences to your listings. It is one way to allow family members or the collegues that the deceased work with to let them share thoughts or add condolences rather then any one who visits ObitsIndia.com. Anyone who has been notified of obituary listing can add condolence message only once. There is no extra charge for public or private listing service.
Obituary: posting plans is where you choose how would you like the listing to be published. There are several plans available from basic to premium. Obituary/Besana display differs based on the plan selected.
There are two ways you can pay us for adding an obituary on ObitsIndia.com. You can select direct payment, and send us cheque with supporting documents (Death certification / Receipt from Smashan Gruh /Your Photo ID card / Address proof). You can also drop off support documents and the listing at our selected drop off locations. Cheque or Cash payment can be made to this agents with Payable to us. In case of cheque payment, listing is available only upon clearance of the cheque.
If you have selected the payment option as through an agent, please select the agent name from the dropdown list. You can skip this selection if you have paid directly. If through an agent, enter the receipt number or else enter the cheque number. You can complete the obituary or memory listing by clicking Complete Obituary button.
